Food Service Executive Chef / OCONUS

Executive Chef position, you will be responsible for all aspects Taylors Food Service needs at specific locations, to include kitchen, storage and dining areas, including menu planning, food preparation, ordering and maintaining product, staff management, and maintaining food safety standards. Executive Chef is responsible for creating and implementing menus that meet quality standards and established customer approvals, monitoring food and labor costs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will use your experience to create unique and innovative menus, prepare entrees and supervise preparation of side dishes and garnishments for all shifts. Cook or otherwise prepare food according to recipes and maintain a high level of food and customer service.

Requirements-

  • Must possess an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a US TS/SCI w/ Poly level clearance if required.
  • Associate’s degree in culinary arts; OR a minimum of thirteen (13) years’ experience in food services including seven (7) years as an Executive Chef
  • (10+) years’ experience in Food Services w/ (5+) years’ experience as an Executive Chef
  • Experience in large food service operations providing cafeteria style or multi-entrée operations.
  • Experience leading and developing a food service team.
  • Experience providing complete, high quality meal service
  • Have experience working in a challenging food services environment.
  • Certified in and have experience with maintaining Serve-Safe standards.
