A tradition celebrated throughout the history of the Corps., the United States Marine Corps’ birthday is celebrated every year on November 10th with a traditional ball and cake-cutting ceremony.

On that day in 1775, the Continental Marines was established. The ball is important to Marines and the night is about honoring the Marine Corps and its accomplishments; but, it also builds camaraderie among peers.
